Moderately cold.
But sunny.
And, per usual this time of week: it’s Friday.
Which is magnificent.
I think we have a little dim sum in our future as well.
Which is also magnificent.

Jesus Christ.
Snow.
Again.
My brain just cannot function in Winter-mode any more.
I don’t know how to dress myself in the cold.
All I can think is, “shorts, skirts, peep toes, pastels….”
I’m just unequipped for this.
Bottom Up:
Sam Edelman Zoe Boots: Gift from my lover
Jeans: ?
Blouse: Common Era
Blazer: Thrifted
Mr. Bagmandorfington: Thrifted
Forecast: Rain through Monday
Augh.

Well, shucks…..
MissĀ Chichichic, one my personal favorite bloggers, evah- has nominated me for the “I love Your Blog award”.
Or maybe I wasn’t nominated and she just loves my blog. I’m a bit unsure, but I sure am flattered!
She’s awesome. Her vintage collection would make any woman swoon, she loves the Theatre, she’s like 8 foot tall, she has a big slobbery named Frank, and she’s Canadian which means she’s super-friendly and says eh*.
Either way, I am very humbled to receive anything of the sort from her. And although I am wholly unfamiliar with anything like this, here goes.
According to Miss C, these are the rules. . .
I abide.
The Rules:
1. Thank the person who nominated you.
2. Copy the award and place it on your blog (see, I did that)
3. Link the person that nominated you
4. Nominate 15 bloggers
AND- just so we’re all clear here, I would, without a doubt nominate Miss Chichichic, but then I think she would have to do this again and I just don’t know if that’s appropriate.
Also, doing this makes me really nervous for some reason.
I worry it’s like one of those emails from the late 90s-early 200s that was like “email this to 25 people or you will totally get murdered today. And never have sex again. And your family will die, too.” So, if this is something like that: I apologize.
I’m new here.
Buuuut, ladies- here you are. I love your blog(s) and would nominate you guys for any award.
5. meggstatus (obviously)
8. Out of Order
9. rosemud
10. dearilou
11. Tick Tock
12. allthatlace
14. Holier than thou
15. J&L
Whew!
*This cannot be verified and is most likely untrue.

So warm today!
I kind of wish I would have saved my short-wearing for today, but I was impatient.
Although, it’s still very windy.
But the sun makes it feel like Friday which is wholly disappointing.
Bottom Up:
Shoes: Seychelles
Paisley circle skirt: Thrifted- and I am 99% sure it was handmade.
White tee: Target
Belt: Thrifted
Bandana: Stolen
Let’s hope Friday comes quickly, quickly, quickly!

{UPDATE: This look was featured on Weardrobe- Thanks, guys!}
Sooo…
The big debut.
This weekend I found the cashmoneyjackpot of pastel, perfectly creased, high-waisted shorts.
Here they are in Yellow #1.
These guys are Talbots, but most of the others are Ralph Lauren.
It was kind of ridiculous.
And no wind !
I am quite happy.
Bottom Up:
Shoes: Seychelles
(If I haven’t said it before, which I doubt: get yourself some Seychelles. If you have them, you know why. If not, they are the. most. comfortable. pumps that anyone is making these days at any price point. And, they have a great price point. And, they are typically better looking than most.)
Shorts: Thrifted
Blue Poly: Thrifted
White Cardi: Target
1970s Givenchy bandana: Gift
How do like the change of scenery?
I thought it was nice.
